Ginja9 Portuguese Sour Cherry Liqueur takes its name from the Portuguese word for sour cherry, and this original liqueur is packed with perfectly sweet-tart ripe cherry flavor. Ginjinha is the original Portuguese liqueur, with a rich history that dates back to recipes of 17th century monks. These monks created this sour cherry (AKA Morello cherries) liqueur with the intention of using it as a health tonic, due to the fortifying effects on the digestive and circulative systems. The natural infusion process used to make Ginja9 takes a full year and uses no added colorings or preservatives. Ginja9 boasts a dark raspberry color with delightful aromas of fresh cherries. Enjoy Ginja9 as a chilled shot or in a variety of delicious cocktails.
