Description

Oban 18 year old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey is a prestigious blend produced by the Stevenson family. Many years back John and Hugh Stevenson lost their father therefore moving to Oban, Scotland with their mother. They began working at a boat repair repair shop inorder to financially support their family. A couple years later they decided to start their own business and open a brewery which they later transformed into Oban Distillery. In 1833 their distillery was sold to J. Walter Higgin who modernized the distillery and updated the old equipment.
The Oban distiller is well known for their renowned scotch whisky which has been sold for many years. They won many awards including a double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2021. The process of creating this award winning scotch whisky is inclusive of complex steps of harvesting, malting, drying, cooking, cooling, distilling, and fermenting in order to create a liquor that lives up to premium standards. Oban 18 year old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey includes specially malted barley which is dried, grounded, fermented and double distilled. The flavor profile of the carefully crafted blend is enhanced by oak casks which give it a smokey and oak taste. This scotch whisky is enhanced with flavors of fruit, peat, wood, banna, plum, chocolate, and caramel. On the nose this scotch whiskey is infused with fruit, oak, lemon, apple, and citrus notes. Oban 18 year old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey will leave your palette with a fruity, carmel, and orange finish. This perfectly crafted blend can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
